FGA Permissions Index Early Access

The FGA Permissions Index is now in Early Access. Every Auth0 FGA Enterprise customer gets one complimentary index and purchasing the Permissions Index add-on unlocks additional indexes, relations, and expansion capacity.
Automatic model assignment for the FGA Permissions Index

FGA Permissions Index now automatically assigns compatible authorization models. When you create an index, FGA evaluates the store's models from newest to oldest and assigns every model whose Indexable Path matches the current index. Incompatible models are not assigned and require creating a new index.
Model Versions in the Dashboard

The Model Explorer page now includes Model Versions below the editor. Click any saved model version to slide open a panel on the right where you can view a previous model or easily cherry-pick relations between versions back into the model editor.
Introducing the FGA Permissions Index

The new FGA Permissions Index helps you support permission-aware search and retrieval workloads by precomputing authorization results ahead of query time. This makes it easier to power use cases such as enterprise search and AI retrieval over large datasets without repeatedly traversing the authorization graph at read time.
List Objects Performance improvements and increased limits

We've deployed a new algorithm for List Objects that delivers an average 2x improvement in P99 latency. With this performance enhancement, we've increased the API endpoint's object return limit from 1,000 to 10,000 objects and raised the rate limit from 5 RPS to 20 RPS for all Auth0 FGA Enterprise tier customers.
Decommissioning Notice — Legacy FGA Token Issuer

As previously announced, the legacy token issuer fga.us.auth0.com will be completely turned off on April 15, 2026. If you are still using this endpoint, you must migrate to auth.fga.dev.
